Personal Information
Dr. Caranna has many special interests. He is very involved in woodworking, making furniture and period reproductions, for which he has been recognized nationally. He was the president of the Woodworkers of Central Ohio from 1996-1998, and is a Technical Instructor of Woodcraft Stores & Rockler Woodworkers Stores. He also has an interest in wine, and was the president of the International Wine & Food Society, Central Ohio Chapter, 1996-1998. Other interests include classical piano and stamp collecting. Dr. Caranna also volunteers his time at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Columbus and is Knight Commander, Order of the Holy Sepulchre.
